Technology Tuesday is an annual national event day in Finland, when vocational colleges and companies organise events in their hometowns. The event takes place in November.
– We have held the event here at Samiedu for years. This cooperation provides students with a unique opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals and gain valuable insights into the demands and opportunities of the workforce. The involvement of companies also strengthens the cooperation between Samiedu and the industry, benefiting all parties.
– The event increases the attractiveness of vocational education and training, inspires students, and demonstrates the diverse and exciting career opportunities offered by the technology sector. It also reinforces the vocational college’s position as a pioneer in technology education and attracts new students, emphasises Käyhkö.
