The VET2Sustain partners gathered in Hannover on 8–9 October 2025 for a fruitful face-to-face meeting dedicated to strengthening the attractiveness and quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Europe.
During the meeting, partners agreed to define the identified factors that raise the profile and appeal of VET as Success Factors — a clear step towards turning research findings into practical action and visibility.
Digitalisation was one key theme of the meeting. The partners explored how new technologies such as Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can support modern, high-quality VET. To foster collaboration and sharing, ThingLink introduced the project’s Virtual Lounge, an interactive digital space designed to connect partners and showcase results.
The discussions in Hannover also highlighted the importance of collaboration and shared goals in international project work. As several noted, “In a large project, it’s essential to remember what we’re all working towards.”
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continue piloting and implementing good practices that shape the future of VET in Europe.
